Mt. Pulag 20151129

If I will be given another chance to visit this wonderful structure, I would probably do it via Akiki trail. I have been to Pulag for two times all ready, while Ambangeg is the usual trail where hikers and nature lovers do their Pulag experience, Akiki on the other hand is for the extremist. From the borders between the rich and sustainable provinces of Ifugao, Benguet and Nueva Viscaya, Mt. Pulag is the highest in Luzon and third from the Philippines with a highest peak at 2,926 metres (9,600 ft) above sea level. Aside from its chilling below zero temperature during the cold season Mt. Pulag is also famous for its scenic sea of cloud formation and hillside landscapes.

We had a record of roughly six hours to reach the summit, we took off at the ranger station at 12 midnight and arrived at the sunrise deck around 4:30am, after the sunrise we immediately went to the summit to do more photo opportunities.

My Pulag experience gave me the excitement on becoming a travel photographer, i still remember how amateurish i was right after i reviewed all of my shots from my computer. I was very happy and amazed as it was my first time to do a sunrise shoot. Here I discovered what early morning shoot can offer, it is the morning glory vibrant colors of nature.
